Am I Alive

This is going to be one hell of a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I have driving lessons. Finally getting that damn license. Thursday is my birthday and I'm turning 18. My game plan is to blow 20 dollars strictly on cigarettes. I can't wait to go to the smoke shop and purchase those organic spirits I've heard so much about. I've tried every other, but not those. I really want a pack of imports as well. I'm going to go crazy.

Also that same day I have a meeting with the guys from Mystikos Quintet. I've been keeping this music project under wraps because I don't want to jinx it and I really want to surprise people. My friend and I are heading to Broadripple after school, cannot wait to sink my teeth into these tracks.

Saturday, is RECORD STORE DAY!!! I can't wait. So many good bands, I'm going to be heaven!!! I can't wait to play. Moving to Bloomington, signing the lease, just gotta graduate highschool

A Trip to the Zoo

Towards the end of February, a few friends and I went on a weekend field trip to the zoo. It was perfect, we carpooled, everyone was really cool and we practically had the whole zoo to ourselves. It was one darn good Saturday. We went to the dolphin show and the daring ones sat in the Splash Zone. They did get wet and we warned em. We saw the meer kats, they were so cute. One of them had monstrous balls, they were insanely huge in comparison to his body. We deemed him the alpha meer kat for sure.

Tommy and I worked as a team so that I could actually see the tigers. It was awesome, first time I saw one out and about. Same with the bear, he was just hanging out.

Spring Fever

Spring Break has come and gone! It was a good time-out from the the monotony of daily life, but insanely, I kind of miss it. I'm looking forward to getting back in school and working. It was nice to be unrestrained, but now it's time to be disciplined. It was so much fun, Saturday night was great, I wrote in my thought book that night: Tonight, I feel alive 4/03/10.

I've been really getting into biking and I try to do it as much as I can. I like to ride to my friend's house. I figure I have to train myself for Bloomington. I have to get used to riding in traffic, but I can't ride at night until I get a reflector jacket. I think I might wear a helmet as well. Why not be safe, you're dealing with cars.

I've completely lost track of time.

I'm playing with Bears of Blue River!! Fucking BEARS OF BLUE RIVER!!! this is huge and Sanuk. Holy shit, these are bands I look up to in the Indiana music scene and they're going to be right in front of me playing, maybe they'll see me play too. A girl can dream.

Slothpop, another band I'm sharing the stage with, is amazing!!! her voice is so damn pure. It never ceases to give me chills. I cannot wait for April 17th. It's going to be life changing

The Mystikos Quintet project is coming along so well, but I'm keeping it under wraps because I don't want to jinx it. I want this to work out, really badly.

Holy Cow! I lost track of time. Time for bed.
